Online-dating-sites for singles can be fun and exciting.
Dating sites have become very popular in the past few years and getting even more popular in these changing times we now live in.
I found my special someone on a singles dating site in January of 2005 and we were married in August of 2008.
When using online dating sites here are a few helpful tips you should consider before ever meeting someone in person whether you are a female or male.
With all that goes on in the world today, never, never, put yourself in possible harms way.
Never go out or be alone with someone you met on line untill you get to know them really well.
Always have a friend along or another couple. If he or she is who they say they are they won't mind this at all. Always meet them on your own
territory.
All people, both good and bad, if they are trying to gain your interest and confidence, will present their absolute best front to you.
It is up to you to determine the good from the bad.
You need to be patient. You may have dreams of spending your life with your soulmate, starting a family and growing old together.
However, life does not work out as it is planned.
Remember, once you meet the person, no matter how old you are, your life will be much better and happier.
Therefore, have patience and good things will come to you.

Protect Our Children
After what happened here in Clay County in Jacksonville Florida I felt the need to speak up for our children and all children who's community has let them down. Yes I said community.
The senseless killing (and should not had happened) of 7 year old Sommer on her walk home from school shook me to the core.
I was upset when the word came out that children who live with in a mile and 1/4 or here in Duval county 2 miles from school would have to walk so money could be saved as a result of the economy.
Now I'm down right mad. That child should not have been walking in the first place. Kids will be kids and when they get upset they do what kids do. She left her friends and ran up ahead and it cost her her life. Had she been on a school bus she would be alive today.
It doesn't matter were you live or how much money you do or do not have. Young Children are in danger when they walk home un supervised even in numbers.
Parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles and foster parents. Speak loud and long to anyone and everyone and lets get our elementary children back on the school bus. The money they are saving is in no way more important then our children.
It's too late for Sommer but not for the rest of our kids. Tell your congress rep, city council, school board, put our children back on the bus or provide an escort home. It's our job to protect our children and they need our help now. Don't let what happened to that child happen to another child.
Losing a child is the ultimate hurt and pain to have to bear. It never goes away. I know this to be true because I lost a child many years ago.
Don't be a victim. Protect your child at all cost.

Speaking Out
Tobacco taxes are soaring to finance a major expansion of health insurance for children. President Barack Obama signed that health initiative soon after taking office. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says cigarette smoking results in an estimated 443,000 premature deaths each year, and costs the economy $193 billion in health care expenses and lost time from work. Smoking is a major contributor to heart disease, cancer and lung disease.
I don't have a problem with taxes going up on smokers but why are smokers the only ones being centered out?
5% of all deaths from diseases of the circulatory system are attributed to alcohol.
15% of all deaths from diseases of the respiratory system are attributed to alcohol.
30% of all deaths from accidents caused by fire and flames are attributed to alcohol.
30% of all accidental drownings are attributed to alcohol. 30% of all suicides are attributed to alcohol.
40% of all deaths due to accidental falls are attributed to alcohol.
45% of all deaths in automobile accidents are attributed to alcohol.
60% of all homicides are attributed to alcohol.
I'm sure (MADD) Mothers against drunk driving would agree that alcohol should get the same consideration for much higher taxes as well to provide health care for children. Why is drunk driving and killing not as bad as smoking?
One answer I believe is because most of our politicians drink and lord help us should they be forced to give it up because it cost too much.

AIG Bonus Money

Attorney General Andrew M. Cuomo of New York announced late Monday afternoon that 9 of the top 10 bonus recipients at the American International Group were giving back their bonuses.
He also said 15 of the largest 20 bonus recipients in A.I.G.’s financial products division had agreed to give back the money, for a total that he estimated at about $30 million. “Those bonuses will be returned in full,” Mr. Cuomo said during a conference call with reporters.
The attorney general noted that about 47 percent of $165 million in retention bonuses was awarded to Americans, accounting for nearly $80 million. All told, Mr. Cuomo said, A.I.G. employees have agreed to return about $50 million in bonuses.

Unbelivable!!!!!
I don't get it. Our money was not to pay bonues to the big shots who put us were we are in the first place. If these men and women were as good as they are suppose to be we would not be in this mess to begin with.
I for one say take the bail out money back. It's not our fault they didn't do the job right. They are not intitled to their bonus, they didn't earn it.
Fire everyone of them and let the chips fall were they may. Let them get a dose of living paycheck to paycheck or not like most of us and see how they like losing everything they worked for all their lives.
Listening to the media a slap on the hand is all they are going to get. And will most likely get even more money in the near future.
I'm not just angrey I'm boiling hot. This is not fair at all.
